We are pleased to provide you with the following options for your dietary food items which require storage and heating throughout your stay with us. Kindly review and follow the quality control procedures mentioned below.

• Please notify the Front Desk about the food storage requirements.
• Food needs to be delivered from an approved restaurant source on island fully wrapped and packaged, free of tears, rips, or exposure to the food. Each package must be labeled with their contents, cooking and heating directions, and properly identified with your full name and day of usage clearly printed on each label per meal.
• We can provide proper storage in the Hotel’s freezer for $75.00 plus taxes; one-time only charge per stay.
• A representative from the kitchen staff will pick up your container and store it in a designated freezer in the main kitchen.
• The In-Room Dinning Team will assist you with the service and preparation of your meals. In-Room Dinning is available from 6am - 12am, seven days a week; please call 2 hours prior to the time you require the specific food item to be delivered to you. For re-heating, handling and service the following fees apply $25.00, per meal plus a $3.00 delivery charge, 20% gratuity and taxes.
• A food service set up fee of $7.00 will apply for any additional item upon request.
• All charges will be included in your room account statement
• Please be aware that Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is not responsible for any food brought into the establishment.
• The Local Government Health Department Regulations in Puerto Rico strictly forbids the storing, handling and heating of food items that are not purchased through the establishment
• A specific area will be designated for you to enjoy your meals, this room may change based on availability. Please ask upon arrival where the room is located.

Reservation / Cancellations / Check-In / Check-Out / Early Departure Fee / Late Check Out:

Reservations: All confirmed reservations are guaranteed until 6:00 PM local time. For arrival after 6:00 PM, the Hotel requires a guarantee by the guest's credit card.

Guest Parking:  

• Self - Parking: $27.85, (taxes included)
• Valet Parking: $33.40, (taxes included)

Cancellations: Hotel general cancellation policy is until 72 hours the day before arrival - no charge. Cancellation of a guaranteed reservation after 11:59 PM the day before arrival - the first night room rate plus applicable tax will be charged as no-show fee. 6:00pm same day upon arrival cancellation policy will apply to all corporate reservations.

Check-In: Is after 4:00 PM

Check-Out: Is to be completed by 11:00 AM

Early Departures: which are advised by the guest 24 hours or more, prior to the new date of departure, will not be charged. Early Departures which are advised less than 24 hours, up to 12 noon on the day of new departure will be charged 50% of the room charge, for one night only, plus applicable taxes.

Early departures, which are advised later than 12 noon on the new day of departure, will be charged 100% of the room charge, for one night only, plus applicable taxes.

Late Check Out: up to 1:00 PM on the day of departure will be charged 50% of the room charge of the previous night plus applicable taxes.

Late check out later than 3:00 PM on the day of departure will be charged 100% of the room charge of the current night plus applicable taxes based on the Best Available Rate.

Black Out / Sold Out Dates: Preferred rates are not available during these Black out/Sold out dates: US Holidays. For prevailing rates and reservations over the Blackout/Sold Out dates, you may contact the Hotel directly.
